Our Founder and Director’s Profile:

Mehret Debebe Gebretsadik

Dr Mehret is a well known consultant Psychiatrist, Trainer and Idea Leader. He graduated as an medical doctor from Addis Ababa University in 1998 and specialized in Psychiatry from St Louis Univeristy school of medicine in the US in 2008. He is currently a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, and a Fellow of American psychiatric Association. He has practiced psychiatry both in the US and Ethiopia.

He has lead and engaged in several boards and held advisory positions. Among others he has chaired Addis Ababa Univeristy Management Board. Currently he chairs the Ethiopian Press Agency’s Management Board and is a member of few other boards. He is a well read author of two popular book ‘Yetekolefebet Kulf’ and ‘Lela Sew’. He is the founding director of the African Leadrship Excellence Academy (AFLEX) from 2021 – 2023., where he currently serves at its Management Board.
